Online marketing agency aimClear and the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce today announced the third annual Zenith Social Media Conference will be held Thursday, May 22, in Duluth, Minn. The conference is designed for marketers who want to tap into the power of social media for their clients, brands and businesses. An afternoon keynote from Duluth Mayor Don Ness will highlight this year’s conference surrounded by seminars from international-leading social marketing experts to give attendees insight on the strategy, tactics and tools necessary to reap the engagement and market share benefits of social media.
More than 250 attendees are expected to visit Duluth for the 2014 conference with a lineup of speakers on par with conferences held in much larger destination cities. Renowned online marketer Neal Rodriguez, who has engineered SEO and social media strategy for many iconic brands, including Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Adweek, the Nielsen Company and AOL, will kick off the conference with a morning keynote presentation on social engagement strategies that earned millions of dollars for top national brands. Other featured speakers include experts from leading business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing organizations who have been covered by Forbes, The Wall street Journal, The New York Times, Inc. Magazine and The Huffington Post, among many others.
“Zenith Social Media Conference gives attendees an incredible opportunity to learn from speakers who developed pioneering social marketing strategies for some of the biggest brands in the world,” said Marty Weintraub, aimClear Founder and Evangelist. “Every marketer will walk away from this year’s Zenith conference with actionable tactics to grow their brand and boost their bottom line.”
The Zenith 2014 agenda is built with three tracks. A Down N Dirty Track for newbies and experienced marketers delivers “How to,” “What next,” and “What for” tactics attendees can implement at a moment’s notice. The Channel Wizards Track drills down into specific channels like Facebook, mobile and Twitter to flesh out what it means to “win” using social analytics. The Advanced Track for experienced social marketers gets seriously geeky insight on advanced ad targeting and content marketing for eye-popping results.
Sessions include presentations from expert panelists on topics such as:
-
Developing a profitable community management strategy;
-
Defining key performance indicators to maximize social investment returns;
-
Content marketing strategies for nimble production and consistent ROI;
- ower Facebook marketing; and
-
Building loyal users and brand evangelists.
College students can benefit from a unique private networking opportunity during the conference. Internationally-known agency leaders including Lisa Grimm, VP PR, space150; Social PR author Lisa Buyer; Marty Weintraub; Will Scott, CEO, Search Influence; and Ric Dragon, CEO, DragonSearch, will give one-on-one face time with students to provide resume feedback, job search advice and the chance to network with speakers and students.
“Zenith panelists touch the hiring process for hundreds, if not thousands, of social media, SEO, PPC, content and other online marketing jobs in five countries. No other conference in the world offers this level of student networking with marketers of this caliber,” Weintraub said. “Students who want a career in marketing cannot miss this opportunity or else risk hearing about friends who made a contact that led to a job after graduation.”
The Zenith Social Media Conference, hosted by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and sequenced by aimClear will be held at Greysolon Ballroom. All proceeds will benefit the Chamber’s business outreach programs.
